World Peace Conference

Was a mysterious figure who figured prominently in world events in ancient times. Rumor has it that in U.S.T. 2,003,500 he led a force of elves against Murad and the Helspawn army. This was over 2,560 years ago, and 1300 years before the beginning of the Roman calendar. Lord Ion succeeded in holding the Helspawn back for 30 years before his forces were overrun. In the final conflict he struck down Murad with a mighty blow which would have killed any mortal it managed to keep Murad down for a full 10 minutes. As mighty a warrior and wizard as Ion was, he simply could not take on all the Helspawn, and his battalion of elves were obliterated. It was all he could do to escape himself. Terribly wounded and out of magical resources, he was hunted down by 1 of Murads death squads. A scouting party of elves was looking for Lord Ion and found the site where the death squad had overtaken him. The ground was strewn with 100 limbs of Helspawn and Lord Ions headless body. The elven party searched for an hour for the head, but it was never found, they took the body into the heart of Seldars forest.

The King of the elves, Sangahyando, asked his high priest to revive his dear friend Lord Ion, but the priest was unsuccessful. He examined the body and determined that Lord Ion was no elf, he was certainly not a human, he closely resembled an elf, but there were subtle differences. 5 attempts were made to revive him using various methods and all failed. He was given a state funeral and buried in a secret location deep in the heart of Seldars forest.

Lord Ion re-emerged as the ruler of the Isle of Loop. He has since revitalized the isle, modernized it, and built a magnificent palace. He has a well trained army, yet they have never left to conquer, preferring only to defend the Isle from invaders. In the last 1300 years no invader has ever managed to maintain a foothold and stay overnight on the Isle .

Lord Ion has now sent out 52 invites to the world leaders to come to a peace conference on his Isle. So far 51 have responded yes

Thou art invited to my palace on the Isle of Loop, the fifth day of the month of sol, year 1260 Roman Calendar. I am inviting the leaders of all the civilized nations of Atlantis to a Conference. We will be discussing the following topics;

Clarification of disputed national borders
Cessation of all revenge, and alternate means of justice
Publication of names crimes and sentences of all political prisoners
Cessation of any and all research of methods of MASS destruction for example Lo-Dons Destructive sphere
Formation of the world council, to meet twice a year here on the Isle of Loop.

In preparation for this conference I am asking each world leader to send a minister or other representative to the pre-conference on April 4^th. The ministers will have the same agenda, and we will iron out some of the logistics of our discussion and perhaps lay out some groundwork for the second conference.

I am sending out multiple invites to the leaders of the nation based on population. You, King Boris Pendragon have 4,250,000 people in your nation, which entitles you to have a representative of 5 of your cities. If you have any questions I have included a detailed census of Atlantis for your perusal. Londres is the first and you can pick 4 other cities in your realm to attend the conference. I want the leaders of these cities to pick representatives to come in the month of April, and they shall come to the main conference in the month of Sol.

Each representative shall be allowed to bring 5 bodyguards to the Isle of loop for their protection, and 1 bodyguard into the conference chamber. If transportation is a problem have your representatives and their bodyguards stand in a circle 20 in diameter and crush the amulet I have included with this invitation. This will transport them instantly to the city of Gel in Ice-Land, from there I will provide ship transport.
